Is this HIPAA compliant?+
Not yet. We're scheduling-only. Grace doesn't collect or repeat PHI (medical history, diagnoses, conditions). HIPAA BAA coverage is in our compliance roadmap and will unlock full visit-prep flows.
Can it tell patients what's in network?+
For the major carriers on your in-network list (you configure this), yes. For others it says "we're out-of-network, we'll submit claims as a courtesy" or routes the question to your insurance coordinator.
What about pain triage liability?+
Grace asks pain-severity + duration but never gives medical advice. Severe pain (7+) gets a same-day slot offer; she escalates anything that sounds like a true emergency (swelling/fever) to 'call your doctor or 911 if needed.'
Can it cancel/reschedule?+
Yes. Patients can reschedule via the SMS confirmation reply. For complex reschedules (e.g., during cancer treatment), Grace takes a callback for your office to handle.
