About ProoN
ProoN is a small founding team building one focused product: the AI receptionist that's tuned for your industry, lives on your existing phone line, and never sleeps.
The trigger was a restaurant in Antioch. Owner of a small Indian café (Bakes & Brews) told us he was losing $1,800/month to missed calls during dinner rush. His staff couldn't take orders + cook at the same time. The phone rang. They didn't answer. The customer ordered DoorDash from someone else.
The available AI receptionists were generic. They couldn't pronounce paneer. They didn't know samosa from samosa chaat. They wouldn't take an order; they'd text a link to an app the customer didn't want to download. So we built Sowmya, an AI receptionist that actually answers like someone who works there.
Then a plumber asked for the same thing. Then a salon. Then a dental office. Each vertical needed its own conversation patterns: emergency triage for HVAC, insurance capture for medical, stylist matching for salons. So we built ten of them: Sowmya for Indian restaurants, Tom for home services, Grace for medical, Aria for the rest. Each with its own voice, vocabulary, and booking flow.

How we work
We don't sell a generic AI you have to teach about your business. We ship 10 vertical-tuned AIs, each pre-loaded with the conversation patterns, vocabulary, and booking flows for its industry.
